Can't change avatar

I was trying to change my avatar, but was unsuccessful. I tried with JavaScript and without, and I tried deleting my avatar before setting it to the new one. Of course I tried clearing the cache and reloading. But no matter what I do, it always goes back to my current avatar. Any idea what could be going on?

OK , this is the one I see now and is this the one you want to get rid of ?? I don't want to delete this one by mistake .

Huh, no, that's the new one.

Odd. I guess it's something funny going on with my cache, because I can view image and see the new avatar after pressing F5, but not on the pages yet still. EDIT: actually, pressing F5 on this page made me see it, too.

False alarm, then.

I started working with computers in 1970 like this one. You had to program it by turning toggle switches on or off and then run a 15 foot long paper tape with special holes punched in it. Now , after 48 years , I still have not figured out how they work sometimes , LOL. Glad you figured it out.
