Can u get an xbox from japan cheap?? and is it possible to use here in da us and play american games?

You can get an XBOX in Japan for cheaper but I wouldn't say cheap. 16,800 yen (US$155) is what I think is the street price now. The XBOX can only play games from the region it was bought from unless you have a modchip installed. Japanese XBOX can only play Japanese games, American XBOX can only play American games. I'm not sure what region the Philippines XBOX is made for so you might have to ask someone else.

you should be able to use it on an american tv. im pretty sure japan uses the same plugs and voltage and the same tv format (ntsc)
but then again you might have to pick up some sort of adapter *shurg*

Philippines Xbox is probably same as Japan, since its only 2 hours away...

saw some for 12800 en - 15800 en, as has been posted
however its $149 here now... hopefully it will get even cheaper (over there)
