Hi, I'm reading a book to improve my Japanese. (Yume no Moribito). Since I'm trying to learn from it I would like to actually understand all the sentences. This one has me baffled.
やがて 、それらのざわめきが 、潮が引くようにすうっと引いていき 、白熱した静けさが心に満ちた … … 。
I can provide context if that is necessary. All I can tell is:
Finally, their stirring/fidgeting
Then something about being pulled like the tide?
And the last part is just too intense for me. Something like the silence became white hot and filled someone's heart...
