Hello Everyone,
I am hoping someone has the time to help me translate this antique box. I have provided two photo at different angles because the flash was blocking out part of the writing.
Thankyou very much in advance.

That's an old Chinese poem (in the 11th ~ 12th century), not Japanese.

卜算子 by 李之儀

我住長江頭 君住長江尾
日日思君不見君 共飲長江水
此水幾時休 此恨何時已
只願君心似我心 定不負相思意

I live at one end of Yangzi River, you live at the other
I miss you daily, and we drink from the same river
Will the river run dry, will this longing cease
Wish you heart is like mine, I will not disappoint you

(This is not my translation. I took this from here:)
