Who he, you ask?

Named after the busy Center Gai shopping strip in Tokyo's teemingly trendy Shibuya, where they first appeared early last year, Center Guys are the male version of yamamba (mountain hags), or mamba for short -- those teenage girls who run around in clownish makeup, lugging plastic shoulder bags full of who-knows-what.

This reminds me of the saying "Punk is dead. Goth isn't, it just looks like it."

I suppose it's like any fashion trend, as long as a few people still stick to it, it never dies.
 
Goth has to be the worst excuse for fashion. "Im colorblind and braindead, but if i wear all black im goth and trendy again!"

Indeed - these disgusting "ganguru" (black face) girls look already way past gross, but on a guy it's like a vicious emetic :mad: :sick:
I'd rather say that "Gai" comes from "Gay", that's obviously much more fitting here...

Funny I was reading this article a day or two ago. Yeh.. That's a little strange.. But hey let the guy do what he wants I suppose. All I know is Ganguro Girls look good to me usually, so let's not hate on the women. Heh.
 
I saw a program on these guys not long ago. The guys they interviewed ate very little (usually one meal a day) to stay thin so they could wear high school girl-sized clothes. They were practically anorexic.
 
I say that people need to be open and accept people for who they are, as a quaker or the fact i go to a quaker school i see that its peoples own personaly choice to be who they want to be, u cant judge a book by its cover and as kongfuzi says treat others the way u wanta be treated
