I am familiar with the expression "bokunenjin 朴念仁", meaning an obstinate, unsociable person but I do not understand how this combination of kanji contribute to the meaning. Can anybody explain the etymology of this word?

朴: simple/haimish/unsophisticated
念: thoughts/idea
仁: person

It originally meant "a person of simple thoughts", but the meaning changed to the present one.
