Hello again, guys.
I'm trying to figure out this writing, but my Japanese is still too basic for this. This is a replica blade made in the 80's; probably Chinese, but I leally don't know what kind of swords were being made back then, or where. Anyway, is this even Japanese? If so, what does it say?
As always I will appreciate any and all comments and pointers here. Thank you!

It's gibberish

杉山でめが元俊

Random-ish letters with no meaning. 杉山 (Sugiyama) is a viable Japanese surname, but you wouldn't find it like this on a blade. Everything else reveals the entire inscription to be some kind of fraud.

Thank you, Majestic.
Yeah, looked iffy at best to me. Also, I just found out something interesting: no 'live' blades are allowed in Japan since the 70's: it's either an approved nihonto, or an unsharpened blade like the zinc ones sold on ebay. Since this is steel, it can't be Japanese - end of story.
So, is 'vintage' garbage worth more than modern garbage? Nah.
