Battle Flags?

I have the opportunity to purchase these two flags, listed as "battle flags". Unfortunately I do not have better pictures to post. Any feedback as to the authenticity of these two flags?

There is not enough information to make even a wild guess. Usually one would expect some writing on the flag, and by looking at the writing one can make a judgment on the authenticity of the piece. With a blank flag I think you'd need a detailed examination of the cloth. You might have better luck at a militaria forum.
