I want to say "I don't have time to study and sleep. (or the other way around)"

勉強と寝る時間がありません
Is this correct?
Do I need to add の after 勉強?

If I switch the order,
寝ると勉強の時間がありません
I know that a verb cannot connect with a noun using と, so in this case, do I change it to 寝る事 or simply using the noun form such as 睡眠?

The most common way to say it is 勉強する時間も寝る時間もありません。. 勉強したり寝たりする時間がありません or 勉強と/や睡眠の時間がありません also works well.
As for 寝ると, と is not the particle to connect nouns (i.e., "and" in English) but a conditional particle, thus, it means "If/When I sleep".

I want to say "I don't have time to study and sleep."
Does that mean:

I don't have time to study and I also don't have time to sleep.

or:

I have time to sleep or to study, but not both.

???

Haha sorry for the confusion.
I meant the first one, "I don't have time to study and I also don't have time to sleep."

The most common way seems a bit redundant (used 時間 2 times). :emoji_joy:
For the したり one, is the punctuation 、 needed? like 勉強したり、寝たりする時間がありません

It's not redundant but necessary to use 時間 for each verb, as I said it's the most common way in Japanese.
The comma is not necessary, but there is no problem with using it.

Not your fault. It's a quirk of English structure.
