I be not japanese by nationality but my folks are. In the US I'm viewed as a Japanese. In Japan I'm viewed as a gaijin Amerikan. I really don't know where I fall in, since no matter where I go, I'm viewed as something else than what I'm supposed to be. Discrimination in the US, and reverse discrimination in Japan. What am I? Just your typical confused person.

at the yh, met a guy from singapore, who said that was his biggest hurdle... because he didn't look foreign, he couldn't get help catching the subway trains like other "foreigners"
