Japan struggles to educate teenagers on AIDS
"Excluding those infected with HIV through tainted pharmaceutical products, 7,470 people in Japan are either infected by HIV or have already developed AIDS, according to health ministry data as of Sept 29. [...]
The survey, conducted among 4,900 second-year senior high school students, shows while 91% of them knew condoms are effective in preventing HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases, only 20.4% of the respondents with actual sex experience used condoms every time they had sex."
