I'm not sure if i even got that verb right in English. In Russian we have a single-word verb "умещаться" or "помещаться" which means "to have enough room for everyone". What i need to do now is to say: "In ryokan, when there's not enough room to settle (sit/fit) all the guests, fusuma are removed." using 連用形+切る. My shot so far: 旅館では、お客がみんな収まり切れない場合に、襖を外します (襖が外されます)。

Another choice is 狭すぎる or 広さが足りない.
Since my goal was to use 連用形+切る I'll stick to Mike's suggestion. But of course it never hurts to know the alternatives. Thank you Mike, thank you Toritoribe.

Oops, sorry, I missed "using 連用形+切る" part. 🤦
収容しきれない can be an alternative.
