Yea i read through it and then at the end he said it was a joke, i did get that.

and thanks for pointing me in the right direction (my sig).
but i was in a rush to write that and couldn't be bothered to correct it.

The title of the book was too long to remember anyway. So, if it was true, I doubt that people would remember the whole title.

A book I have read which had the LONGEST TITLE EVER was one I was forced to read during my undergraduate course:

Adam Smith, An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations (1776)

The title I remember still as it was the most brain-stretching book I have ever read!

Oops, there was apparently a misunderstanding. I meant that the rant on learning Japanese is a classic. I've never actually read that book (and I don't think I want to, either).

This essay is a joke, the book doesn't exist. I loved this essay from the moment I read it, as have many others. There's been quite a bit of controversy over the essay since many people still seem to take it seriously.
