Hello,
I wanted to write in Japanese the sentence "The game was released".
So because the word "released" is a verb I used the を particle. ゲームを出ました
But then I found out I should've written が instead. ゲームが出ました
Same thing with the sentence 人生を変わりました (Life has changed).

So I wanted to ask in which conditions I should use が and not を before a verb?
Is it because I've used an intransitive verb?

Hint: "was released" is a passive verb.

Yes, in Japanese it is crucial to be aware of when one is using a transitive verb or an intransitive verb. It is similarly crucial to be aware of when something is in active voice or in passive voice.

Yes, ゲーム and 人生 are the subject of 出ました and 変わりました, not the object, respectively.
cf.
ゲームを出しました。
I/We/They released the game.

人生を変えました。
I changed my life.

ゲームが出されました。
The game was released.
