I'm probably going to ask questions that have been asked before, but there are so many threads, that I wouldn't know where to start reading, so I figured I'd just ask and see what will come of that.

I'm going to Japan next year in March, as a part of my study. It's only for 4 months, but there's all this stuff I have to think about. So I was wondering about a few things.

I will be going to Kyouto gaidai and will be offered a room somewhere there, but since that will cost quite some money and I'd rather save that for other purposes, I was thinking of doing a homestay.
However, I don't really know anything about homestays and my teachers aren't really open about it either. So I was wondering if someone could tell me something about that, if there is perhaps some site on that or something...

And then there's also the thing about working. Because I'm thinking I might try and get a job for a few hours a week while I'm there. Not only helps my savings, but I figured it would also benefit my Japanese. But I don't really know how that works. Already read something about that on the forum here, but am still a bit confused. Am I allowed to work and if so, for how long?

Well... this post is already getting much longer than intended 🙇‍♂️ Hope someone can help me out 😊
