I pick this up along with a number of Japanese American real photo postcards. They all originate from Seattle, dated from 1909 to 1917. Few are captioned. But this one does have a caption on the reverse and I hoped someone might be able to decipher what is written about ' Masao Otani '. My sincere thanks.

Thank you, Toritoribe - as always.

This one is part of a group of 27 RPPC / real photo post cards which originated in Seattle. A good group with a few shots of Japanese Americans involved in a parade. The man I bought them from purchased the, from an elderly Japanese American lady in Chicago.

In regard to Otani: pretty sure that's a baseball cap he is wearing. Hope to track down the school the ' M ' signifies.

Michigan's the first one that comes to mind cause blue. However, maize would show up as well so it's, unlikely, to me Michigan.
