Hi:)

I am confused about 動詞て+ある, when to use 他動詞&自動詞)

For example、書いてある is easy to understand because 書く is 他動詞 and it doesn't have 自動詞~

But when it comes to 開(あ)いてある 自動詞 and 開(ひら)いてある 他動詞, it confuses me a lot.

So when I want to say the door is opened, which of the below is correct?

(自動詞) ドアが開(あ)いてある
(他動詞) ドアが開(ひら)いてある

Thank you for your help in advance

あいてある doesn't exist. It should be あけてある/あけている or あいている. 開いてある is ALWAYS read ひらいてある.

FYI, "あく - あける" is an "intransitive - transitive" pair. ひらく is a 自他同形動詞, i.e., a verb which can operate as both intransitive and transitive.
e.g.
ドアがあく
ドアをあける

ドアがひらく
ドアをひらく
