Hello, Laura here. I finally decided to pick up the Japanese language again after sitting for the JLPT N4 in 2011. While I can understand basic every day conversations, I struggle with reading / writing kanji and grammar. I also feel very shy about using the Japanese language in conversations.

I hope to be able to read novels by 京極 夏彦 specifically his 京極堂 series. I have read the translated work of his novel, 姑獲鳥の夏 and found it to be extremely interesting. I also enjoy 歌ってみった動画 and illustrations on pixiv.
