Hi. Could you please explain why ながら is used to end a sentence? What kind of usage is it?

That's an inversion.

我が兄ながらつくづくチキンねえ

ながら【乍ら】 の解説
[接助]
2 名詞、動詞型活用語の連用形、形容詞型活用語の連体形などに付く。内容の矛盾する二つの事柄をつなぐ意を表す。…にもかかわらず。…ではあるが。「学生乍ら読書もしない」

Thank you. I thought of inversion too but I’m not sure whether ながら can follow a noun when it means “although”.
