While they were contemplated moving the departure times of last trains back last year, the pandemic has changed those plans: JR East announced today that they will bring forward last train departure times on 17 lines in the Tokyo metropolitan area by up to some 40 minutes from next spring...
Hydrogen-powered trains have already undergone extensive testing in the UK, Germany, and several other countries. Now, JR East is jumping on the bandwagon, too.
We are not far away from Nambu Line, and I'm looking forward to seeing this baby tested. :)
