Hanagaki Junmai Ginjō (花垣 純米吟醸) is made of Gohuyakumangoku rice milled to 50 per cent. Slowly brewed at low temperature and fermented over a long period, it has a beautiful ginjō aroma and refreshingly mild acidity with a full-bodied umami flavour. Clean and gentle finish. It can be served chilled or hot.

Nambu Brewery is located in Ōno City, Fukui Prefecture. It was established in 1901 on the premises of a former hardware store, using the brand name Hanagaki (花垣) which was derived from a song performed in a Noh play. Ōno is famous for its water (recognized as one of Japan's 100 outstanding water springs) and as a production centre of Gohyakumangoku rice.
