Nakano's Junmai Chiebijin (純米酒 智恵美人) is made of Yamadanishiki rice grown in Kitsuki, Ōita Prefecture, milled down to 70%, and KA-4 (Kumamoto No. 4) yeast. The brewery uses mineral-rich groundwater water pumped up from 200 metres below. Chiebijin Junmai has a smooth, crystal-clear taste and a fruity and juicy-sweet mouthfeel with a full, rich flavour.

Nakano Brewery (Ōita) is located in Kitsuki on Kinosaki Peninsula. The brewery was founded in 1874 and had been producing sake for 140 years under the brand Chiebijin (智恵美人), after Chie, the former proprietress of the brewery. Nakano Brewery also produces shōchū. The natural water used for brewing sake at Nakano Sake Brewery has won the highest gold medal for three years at the "Monde Selection", a global food competition known as the Olympics of food.
