Tanaka's Manatsuru Tokubetsu Junmai does not a have a strong scent, perhaps a faint nose of fruits (melons, grapes) with spicy, alcoholic overtones. It is very dry, and refreshing and has quite a lot of acidity and a spicy finish. It goes well with food and shouldn't be consumed too cold.
