Kitanohana Junmai Muroka Genshu (喜多の華 純米 無濾過 原酒) is made of locally grown rice milled to 60%. Muroka means it is unfiltered and refers to sake that has not been carbon filtered but pressed and separated from the lees, leaving it clear, not cloudy.

Kitakata City is located northwest of Fukushima Prefecture, in the northern part of the Aizu Basin. The Agano River flows to the south, the Nasu Mountains are in the distance, the foothills of Mount Oguni to the east, and the summit of the iconic Mount Bandai in the back. The brewery offers tours at its "Sake School Kitanohana" (酒塾 喜多の華).
