Kikusui Junmaishu

Kikusui Junmai has notes of steamed rice notes and umami and compliments well with any food. Kikusui Junmai can be enjoyed at room temperature or even chilled; however, warming it slightly will bring out its rich, mellow taste.

The pinnacle of Niigata junmaishu: slightly dry and a rich mouthfeel without feeling "heavy"; well-balanced flavour with nice umami. Also known as Kikusui Ichi Kangari (菊水一燗上がり), its mellow taste becomes even more pronounced when heated. Gold medal winner in the Kansake Award 2021.
