Kikkawa Kikuyū

Kikkawa Kikuyū is the brewery's standard sake, made of domestic rice milled to 70%. It has a deep and rich taste.

I was very curious to try this Kanagawa jizake, the Kikuyū was our first sake from Kikkawa. It has a sweet nose of caramel and marzipan but turned out to be very crisp, with an undeniably sour and refreshing finish. I am certain that some people will enjoy its vitalising acidity, but it was a tad too much for me. More palatable at room temperature but still very brisk.
