Isonosawa Sake Brewery is located in Ukiha, Fukuoka Prefecture, on the expansive Chikushi Plain. The town of Ukiha has long been known for its natural water springs. It is one of the few "water villages" in Japan. All the tap water in the town is supplied by the abundant and beautiful natural water that springs from the Chikugo River (筑後川), which originates from the mountain ranges of Mt. Aso and Mt. Minoo. The brewery was founded in 1893 by Takagi Kisaburō (高木喜三郎). In 1970, it was renamed from Takagi Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (高木酒造株式会社) to Isonosawa Co., Ltd. (株式会社いそのさわ).

Slightly cloudy
This is a summer nigorizake from Fukuoka Prefecture: nose of ginjoka, moromi and sweet notes; usunigori means slightly cloudy and describes its whitish turbidity perfectly; gentle texture, very light moromi-like sweetness typical for nigori, umami, bitter notes, and slight acidity.
