Hokkan Kuranomachi Tokubetsu Junmai

Hokkan Kuranomachi Tokubetsu Junmai is made of Gohyakumangoku rice grown in Tochigi and milled to 58%. It is a well-balanced junmai with a soft mouthfeel and a clean finish.

A harmony of light, fluffy sweetness and crisp spiciness: golden in appearance, this junmai has a nose of narazuke and dried fruits. Flavour of lactic acid and koji, light body with crisp acidity and a spicy, peppery finish. Gentle mouthfeel and, overall, quite mild. The spiciness increases around room temperature; the brewery recommends it chilled or warmed to 35C.
