We found this junmai at a Michi-no-eki (道の駅) store in Izu. It has a nose of cereal and the sweet scent of caramel. Very well-balanced on the palate, mild, with a pleasingly sweet mouthfeel. Moderately spicy finish. A worthy table sake, a bit on the costly side, but that might have been related to the gift box it came with.
