Aizu Akabe no Junmai (會津あかべぇの純米酒) bears the motif of the akabeko on the label. Akabeko is a famous good-luck charm from the Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture. It is made from 100% Aizu rice and light, slightly dry Junmai. Eisen recommends it for "daily evening drinking."
What is Akabeko? Akabeko is a local toy made in Aizu, characterised by its cow shape and neck that moves up and down. In the dialect of the Tohoku region, the word for cow is 'beko', and the red colour (akai) is thought to ward off evil and illness, as seen in the torii gates of shrines.
