Nagoya Castle (名古屋城) was completed in 1612 on the orders of Tokugawa Ieyasu and was the seat of the Owari branch of the Tokugawa. It was destroyed during air raids in 1945 and reconstructed after WWII. Reconstruction works and renovation are still ongoing.
