Time to take Rocky out

Having a pet dog to walk along with me is like our Creator giving us a gift to cherish . Rocky is 17 years old.
Getting slow, but still enjoys some short walks.

Seventeen years is quite impressive!

According to this calculation, it corresponds to roughly 89 human years! 😲

  • 15 human years equals the first year of a medium-sized dog’s life.
  • Year two for a dog equals about nine years for a human.
  • And after that, each human year would be approximately five years for a dog.

Can you show us his face?

I'll find some pictures and post a few soon. Maybe tomorrow. Rocky is a Papillon ,

One thing seems to be you are properly keeping your companions from being too heavy. That is outstandingly proper of you. I feel terrible grief so often when I see folks allowing their dogs and cats to get so fat. And it seems to be a common problem. Unfortunately, I am not so brave and do not lecture the humans about such horrible behavior on their side. I just feel so sorry for the pet animal.

Well, if it were possibly a non-Japanese I might be inclined to comment on fatness of pets, but I don't have any such folks around me. Only Japanese. And my own family members here and there.

And reaching 17 years is an indication of proper care in other areas, as well. You must be a right proper type of human.
