Hello, I am just wondering if this translation from English To Japanese is correct.
私は彼に新しい曲を一回弾いた後で、彼はもうあのきょくを弾けました

What I mean is after I play the new song to him once, he can already play the song.

Understandable, but clunky and unnatural. Try it using 聴かせる instead of 弾く.

but would that change the meaning of the sentence? Because this is related to teaching a student piano. it means after i play the song to him once, he already knows how to play it on piano. Thank you!

Yes, or I wouldn't have suggested it. You can also do it with 聴く if you want.

Have you learned causative form conjugation yet?

Hint 彼に聴かせる

後で is not the only translation of "after". ~と/たら is more natural in that case. Also, you don't need to use two topics. It's a description about him, so the topic should be 彼.

Did you already get the meaning of 飲み込みが早い in your previous post, by the way? Any response to our replies?
