Hello,
I am a newcomer at this forum and have been planning to find a IT related job after graduation, I will be very appreciate if someone could take time read it.

I am a Chinese student now studying the MCA (Master of Computer Application) from 2015 in India, and will graduate at 2018. In MCA mainly I have studied many programming languages like C, C++, JAVA, and web technologies as HTML, PHP.
For academic part,. I am very hard working getting 72.53% percentage during the first year. In leisure I am fond of taking online courses which are not included in campus ones. Twice work must be conducted as my undergraduate subject was Applied Mathematics, and recently I am busying in doing first project just want to make my resume or attractive.
For language part, I am fluent in English but only basic in Japanese. As a manga/anime fan, I may figure out in listening but that is not enough. So when getting time, I will learn Japanese by myself. I have thought to take learning courses and level exam but the academic part takes too much time I may only get time to attend the exam after graduation.

I have checked some Q&A websites but I am still confused and really do not know where to start. I am hoping if you could offer some suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Try working through a good textbook and asking here when you need clarification on something. The Genki series is frequently recommended.

You should look at recruiting sites for job listings in your field. Get an idea for what their Japanese proficiency requirements are. If they have requirements like JLPT N2 or N1, then you will have to find time before you graduate to learn Japanese to that level and to also take the exam.

I have asked around my friends around and it seems the certificate of JLPT is inevitable. Thanks Mike Cash, it is high time for me to squeeze time in learning Japanese aside from academic.

Sorry, but your command of English is not fluent. It's not bad, but I don't know what the first statement above means. "Twice work"??? Is that a mistake from autocorrect typing? There are other examples from your message that show mistakes likely not due to autocorrect.

Thx for pointing out, I was overconfident because I do not have a well understanding to the descriptive work such as "fluent, business level". Still in the process of learning English and make myself better.
