I hope all is well with everyone. @Toritoribe and Mike-san...can you help me with the following five translations? They are all titles with the English translation in parenthesis on the right. I appreciate your help in the past and thank you for your time as always.

Jihibukaki hansō (Benevolent Transport)

Reddo ishi no kaidan (Red Stone Stairs)

Tawā no shita de saikai (Reunion Under the Towers)

Ginchō no kōka (Descent of a Silver Bird)

Kaerimichi (The Way Home)

Those are mostly modern Japanese. People in Edo Period never used lawn words such like Tawā タワー or Reddo レッド. Furthermore, Reddo ishi sounds extremely odd even in modern Japanese.
Just for confirmation, are those words/phrases key expressions written in the diary/journal? Sounds like the title of a chapter or something to me.

Actually, those I listed are what a key character translates and interprets meanings into modern Japanese and converts into English. The translations are odd for a reason, but the character needed to convert the meanings into English. Hence, Red Stone Stairs (it's actually a brick staircase in 1982 being described from an 18th century perspective!!!!). I know that doesn't make sense right now, but it's a plot point. Thanks again for your help, and I would also like to see the classical sounds. But for my purposes in the novel, I was looking for modern Japanese because the character is actually solving a mystery from the 18th century and is stunned by the translation. Thank you so much again.

Ooops! Really embarrassing...🤦 Seems to need to take a rest on lawn.😅

I see. Here's my attempt for modern version. (I like the first and last translation.)

Red Stone Stairs: 赤い石段 Akai ishidan
Reunion Under the Towers: 塔の下での再会 Tō no shita de no saikai
Descent of a Silver Bird: 銀色の鳥の降下 Gin'iro no tori no kōka

Classical version defers depending on the writing style (Japanese style in the diary or kanbun style in the journal).

Unrelated to my novel but for another possible project, could you translate the names of these groups from English into Japanese? Thank you again for your help.

cherry blossom society
black ocean society
vermilion efface
blood mountain collective

cherry blossom society: 桜花協会 Ōka Kyōkai
black ocean society: 黒洋協会 Kokuyō Kyōkai
blood mountain collective: 血の山共同体 Chi no Yama Kyōdōtai

vermilion efface: Is there any reason why a verb "efface" is used here, not a noun "effacement"?

Yes, Efface in this instance means to "remove, or eradicate" something from existence. The meaning would be to "eliminate the vermilion" or something close to that. I did a Google translate and it came out shuiro keshimasu. I was not sure if that is correct. Your help is appreciated for a correction. Thank you!

I see, then I would use 朱色を消去 Shuiro wo shōkyo. 消去 is a noun but also performs as the stem of a verb, so this phrase acts as a sentence because of the particle を.
