Dear native English speakers, I need your help again.

Would you correct my sentences if needed?
1 What do you think is the most effective way to help the poor in developing countries?
2 Every company should contribute to the society in many ways. (way = 方法)
3 This new medicine will benefit millions of people around the world.
4 You can contribute to global society just by eating or buying healthy food.
5 We'd like to know which is the fastest way to the village.
6 Some people in developing countries are too poor to buy enough food.
7 The twenty-yen donation to the organization will help improve the health of the people in developing countries.
8 That store sells computer software as well as books and magazines.
9 This mistake is typical of Japanese learners of English.
10 Paul and Meg are enthusiastic learners of Japanese.
11 The tea was too hot to drink.
12 This app will help improve your English skills.
13 The donation to the organization will help improve the health of the poor.
14 I would like to know the most effective way to learn new words.
15 My job is to make desks and chairs.
16 People living in the village are very friendly.

They all look correct to me. For (2) I would remove "the" before society. I think this is mostly because society is considered a collective noun of the area/region so doesn't need to be specifically referenced. However if you had a company outside of the society it's in you could use "the" to reference the specific society. "Every American company, in Japan, should contribute to the Japanese society in many ways." Even then I prefer to exclude "the", "Every American company, in Japan, should contribute to Japanese society in many ways."
 
Thank you for the help, OoTmaster. Hmm...It is always hard for a non-native speaker like me to use the articles correctly. Thank you for the information.
 
I wouldn't say this particular one is an article problem, just that "society" is treated as a mass noun. Mass nouns are never given articles.
