Hi everyone,
I'm a new member seeking immediate help for translation of our petition info from English to Japanese, regarding a clutch bag lost at Ubon Airport and has yet to be located, so we can get extended help from the Japanese as well.

Our petition link is as follows: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/givetheclutchbagbacktoren

Many thanks if anyone could help.

Please. We are trying to help someone with lost important belongings in that bag so we appreciate this kind gesture.

Where are all the bilingual Nu'est fans? Surely they'd do this for free, since it's so, you know, dire. I'm also sure Rubin intends to stick around and contribute greatly to the JREF community regardless of what becomes of this "clutch bag"

Common sense would say the Thailand police and or private security there would have a much better chance of finding the missing bag then well intentioned fans. If they have security cameras everywhere like most countries it might show how the bag was lost or stolen. If there were any misuse of his credit cards or phone it would lead police to the culprit. I would also wonder if the (famous) victim would inform everyone to stop searching when his bag is returned or would he be too busy to be bothered with that.

You don't call the cops for this; you call a mechanic when you have a problem with your clutch.

What really gets me about this is that Ubon airport is in the absolute middle of nowhere!!! The chances that a Japanese person, or anyone else who isn't Thai, was there are abysmally low.

It's as if we were talking about some tiny Iowa airstrip and desperately trying to gat a translation into Hakka in the hopes an aboriginal Taiwanese person happened to be there with a video camera...

I'm just flabbergasted by the thought process.

Do you reckon the guy even knows about the petition? Or has he already reported it to the police and bought himself replacement stuff with the huge piles of money he presumably makes.

Not the strangest fan I've ever seen, but that's only because I know of people who thought celebrities were sending out secret messages to them by wearing color-coded clothing. The bar is pretty high.

A very good thanks to everyone for the replies. We actually need a Japanese translation because we intend to spread word of the petition to the Japanese fans for them to sign it, not because we are looking for a Japanese person who could have picked that up. We have already translated it to other languages we know of for the other fans who have signed.

A police report has already been made, but not much have been done. The celeb in question has posted an instagram post before to request returning of his bag and have stated that there are personal belongings that mean a lot to him in it. We are just doing our best to push the culprit out of their comfort zone and to own up. K artists don't make a lot of money as compared to European and American. It's something known amongst kpop fans as there have always been news of artistes leaving the companies due to contracts and salary issues.

Rubin, in case you haven't already gotten the hint....we don't care., we're making jokes about your petition, and nobody is going to do a free Japanese translation of it for you.

Funny how you didn't get the hint of sarcasm in my thanks too smart one. Just amused at the wayward conclusions jumped to here that's why I stepped out to reply. Wouldn't have bothered with these unhelpful funny answers otherwise. A lovely thanks indeed for the humor.

To date the international pressure forcing the culprit out of his comfort zone is a whopping ten signatures worldwide.

Maybe he should have had it translated into Thai...

And just when I thought you are kidding... They really made it all the way up to ten signatures in the last four weeks. Hats off.
