Hallo: I have some japanese paintings that I bought when I was there, and would like to know the meaning of several inscriptions on them.
Here is a group of three, belonging to Hokusai and Hirosige.
If anyone is able to translate them, I would be very thankful.

Hello wmunny,

Just a point of clarification - what you have are woodblock prints, not paintings. Your prints would be reproductions of prints made in the 19th century. From top to bottom:

Thirty-six views of Mt. Fuji.
Shinshu, Suwa-ko
Zen Hokusai Aratame Itsu Hitsu

富嶽三十六景
信州諏訪湖
前北斎為一筆

木曽街道
六拾九次
小田井

Hiroshige-kaku
No. 22
Kisokaido
Rokujusan-tsugu

Printer: Noguchi Keiichi

北斎為一
Saki no Hokusai Iitsu(not Itsu) Hitsu
Drawn by Iitsu, the former Hokusai

"Zen Hokusai" is not wrong, but 前北斎 is usually read "Saki no Hokusai". Another signature of Iitsu is 北斎為一筆 "Hokusai Aratame Iitsu Hitu"

六拾九次
Rokujūkyū-tsugi

Sorry for niticking repeatedly.:p

Aah, rokujukyu... silly mistake.

And, I think after 六拾九次 there are two more kanji 「之内」. It just looked like a scribble at first and so I ignored it, but looking at it again I think they are 之内.

(Not really meaningful, it just means "one of the series")

Thank you very much, both of you, for your interest and help. Of course, I wish I had the originals! :)

Actually, I bought these printings in a shop of ukiyo-e in Jimbocho (lovely neighbourhood, by the way). The envelope for them had these sentences on it. Could I ask you to tell me what they mean? (If it is kind of publicity and it is not allowed in this page, please forgive my ignorance).
