Hi, not sure whether its a right place to ask but I need some help. My fiance is in love with Japanese culture and had his nickname stilts (or so he thought) tattoed 7 years ago. for some reason I decided to reasearch it and realised it must say something different but cant work out what. Ive uploaded the photo and would be so grateful if someone could have a look and see if they know any of the symbols. Thank you

Your boyfriend was taken in by an unscrupulous (or ignorant) tattoo artist who has assigned one kanji to each letter in the word "stilts", which is why the first two and last two characters are the same (see also this link hanzismatter.blogspot.com: Gibberish Asian Font Mystery Solved )

What it actually reads is:
民明京快明民

None of the kanji have negative meanings, but it doesn't have any meaning as a whole - it's just a bunch of random characters stuck together.

Please don't double-post. You two had me thinking the latest Tapatalk had a weird bug.
