Translation of a rare (?) symbol needed

Hello everyone,

I could need help with the translation of this symbol here:



It's the one between the symbols for "fish" and "inn" (provided I translated those correctly).



This is a screenshot from a Japanese interactive novel. I'm sorry for the low resolution, but that's as high as the game goes. :( If anyone here could help me with that, that'd be great. :) The symbol looks symbol for that for demon/magic (魔) but doesn't seem to be quite that symbol.

鱗 うろこ = scale (as in fish or snake scales).

I should mention that in the example above, you would use the on-yomi, which is rin.
So the name of the inn/restaurant would be Uorin-tei。

The reading ぎょりんてい would be more common.;)
