Hi,
I came across an instagram post which wrote the following:
そこに手を置くなっつーの

I was curious about the ending 置くなっつーの. I recognize the verb 置く, "to put", but did not recognize most of the rest なっつーの. Is this some informal version of 置くない? I'm familiar with the の, I think -- that it is indicating present action ("putting"). Or is なっつ some form of なる, "to become"?
I'm basically confused about everything following the verb 置く, and would definitely appreciate if someone could help educate me.
Thank you!

It seems to me that its a casual form of "っていうの/ と言うの"

そこに手を置くなって言うの

Thank you, I really appreciate your replies.

So it’s saying something like, “Did you say not to put my hand there?”?
