Dear native English speakers,
Would both of these sentences be used?
(a) The day when I visited Grand Canyon was sunny.
(b) The day was sunny when I visited Grand Canyon.

Thanks in advance.

How about these?
(c) The day was good/nice/fine when I visited Grand Canyon.
(d) The weather was sunny/good/nice/fine when I visited Grand Canyon.
(e) It was a sunny/good/nice/fine/sunny weather when I visited Grand Canyon.

Thanks in advance.

For this, take out when:
(a) The day when I visited the Grand Canyon was sunny.

For (b), I'd say:
It was a sunny day when I visited the Grand Canyon.

For (c):
It was a good/nice/fine day when I visited the Grand Canyon.

(d) The weather was sunny/good/nice/fine when I visited the Grand Canyon.

For (e), change it into my version of (d)... ;)

I have a further question.
Is it that you can't say "the day was sunny/good/nice/fine" instead of "the weather was sunny/good/nice/fine" ?
