I'm trying to say "I speak a little Japanese" and I got a bit confused as to whether the "sukoshi" comes before or after nihongo. My full sentence sounds something like this: "Watashi wa nihongo wo sukoshi hanashimasu". Please help. Thanks!

Japanese word orders are not that important compared to English. Particles mainly determine the function of the word rather than word order like in English. For adverbs, it can be placed anywhere before the verb basically although it can sound odd if you go a bit too crazy.

すこしにほんごをわたしははなせます is also fine.
