Hello - I am a beginner with Japanese and I am only a little aware of tenses and forming sentences etc. I am currently going through some stuff on Anki but I got a little confused by these 2 sentences:
ゆきがふっていました (it was snowing)
あめがふりました (it rained)
Now in English these would both be past tense and the verb is falling - which in the first sentence is shown as ふって but in the second as ふり I am just wondering what the difference is?
Thank you! ^-^
