Yes, red Chinese characters were placed on the map to show locations that were yet to experience Chinese encounters of a more intense kind. The character for 'tree' is a good example of what happens when loanwords get used. Some syllables have come into being due to contraction of native disyllables. This is true for CyV (consonant y vowel: kai-yo [right angle sign] o'on) and CwV (consonant w vowel: goo-yo [right angle sign] o'on. Most examples, though, arose with the onslaught of Chinese borrowings. Commonly assumed is that syllables like kyo and kwa were first borrowed
 
into Japanese as disyllables, kiyo and kuwa and then they were compressed, though this is probably misleading due to the kana orthography. Chinese syllables with CwV were less successfully implanted than those with CyV. For the cry, "kaia!" heard during the fire-walking ceremony, see Blacker, The Catalpa Bow. Indeed, the Eyak fish shaman (Copper River Delta, Alaska) was named Kai. In Old Japanese, kiy 'tree' (rendaku form is -giy), was used as a suffix.
 
For the Chinese character for 'eye' confusion occurred due to ma (Chinese 'eye' character), which was a corruption of me (Chinese 'eye' character), as in mabayuki 'dazzling' (Chinese 'eye' character), but mabayuku.
These words use the same first Japanese character, not Chinese character:
mana 'the original Chinese characters from which Japanese kana have been borrowed.' maboroshi 'optical illusion' (originally maborosi, manporosi)
mabuta 'eyelids' (compare to Impossible Trident)
ma-ai 'interval; part of face between the eyebrows' (compare to Impossible Trident)
manazashi 'expression of the eye' (no Chinese 'eye' character)
manazashi 'gaze' (no Chinese 'eye' character), but ma-na-zashi (Chinese 'eye' character)
 
While fascism closes threads here at JREF and at the same time wants us to turn the character 90 degrees to "see" the number "100" or a tongue hanging out, one can begin to understand the coercion/deception (that we equate to a kind of pedophilia) by studying the word "katakana." Yes, Japanese does have organic lines, but Jaba's prisoner-reader has already pronounced the syllable, and that is where the coercion arises. In the first syllable "ka" one sees that there is an introduction of 90-degree angles. Your eye as pinball is forced into the crooks of the cross, which crooks are also found in the fylfot (swastika), whether clockwise or counter-clockwise. It is at the (second [italics]) syllable "ta" that the prisoner-reader is asked to give up the use of a second Japanese "ka" and replace it with a Chinese character, whose strokes are even more complex. By the time of the second syllable, Chinese eye-fascism has already begun to get overconfident.
 
The pathology includes not only kanji but also hiragana and katakana. The supreme irony is that Jaba's prisoners were already producing these sounds well before they learned to read or write. What Jaba did was to give the prisoner two choices for the sign (symbol) that represented the vowels: katakana and hiragana. After this schizoid splitting, Jaba next mystified (all [italics]) of the consonants: the prisoner never does get to know what symbol represents the consonants, because that sign (symbol) depends on what it is copulating with. Delirious. And you have to ask why Romaji? What happens when the prisoner wishes to form double consonants as examples that occur in other languages, or even strange copulations, as in other languages?
 
Well, that's one possibility I suppose, but I'm reminded more of bots that are fed a bunch of input and then attempt to produce output based on the patterns in the input.

That's a good point and one that I hadn't thought of. Something fishy is going on here.
 
The "bot" comes in after chronic repetition and redundancy. The adaption to the initial absurdity means that everything that follows my make perfectly good sense to the prisoner, now habituated to the signifier-signified. After that, Jaba can relax, the system becomes self-perpetuating and automatonic. Wiki page mentions Wernicke's aphasia, though here we deep-dive into the Tokyo subway:

So are you a computer program experiment to see if a bot can pass as human , or a human on mushrooms/LSD , trying to pass as a bot?

The resources and results are publicly available via Barrat's GitHub page along with a brief explanation of how the network operates.

"It's a neural network that has been trained on rap songs and can use any lyrics you feed it and write a new song," Barrat wrote. "It now writes word by word as opposed to line by line."

That distinction means the bot has its own cadence, although it admittedly comes with the limitations of a monotonic robot voice with pauses between each word.

Barrat says he fed the network approximately 6,000 Kanye West lines using open-source software, Linux, and PyBrain, a neural network powered by the user-friendly programming language Python.
 
mdchachi is picking up monotonic resonance from mdchachi's own psychoacoustic brain-space. If Jaba had not taken away one of the dimensions, that is to say, the third, mdchachi could see and hear the rest of the non-verbal cues in the discourse. It is called the weakening of deixis, which indeed leads to the prisoners suspecting a bot. Delirious. Elsewhere in cyberspace, we will be communicating with others who can actually address the Japanese information we are giving them rather than see the mundane reactionary move to discover whether or not the "speaker" is human. Thus far, you have shown no interest in this thread of addressing the objective material, which is akin to pearls being thrown to animals.
 
I think the human at the University of Wisconsin Technology Department who is responsible for this poorly implemented bot should speak up now and take responsibility for it.
