What do you enjoy stuffing into your onigiri? I usually have mine with eggs or vegetables. It varies with the seasons, right?

So get this, I actually witnessed someone stuffing onions into their onigiri.
 
Namida-onigiri. Forgot where we had them served, but they came with wasabi stuffing only.
 
Finely chopped onion is sometimes mixed into the mixture of mayonnaise and canned tuna, what's called tuna mayonnaise, or more simply tsunamayo. I like it.:)

This one is my favorite! Though I'm now on a strict diet since I got quite fat after indulging in all the Japanese foods.

My rural specialty is chicken rice Onigiri.
(Fukuoka) In Fukuoka we call chicken Kashiwa.

I like to sprinkle some nori onto the onigiri after i've done moulding it. It contributes to the saltyness of the overall onigiri experience.
