I am excited to have found this forum! I believe i have found a stamp my mother used and need help in the correct orientation and translation. I have uploaded four images of the same image in different orientations. I would greatly appreciate if someone could identify the correct orientation and translate (I believe it is her signature).

Thanks much!

You should find some marking, flat spot, notch, etc. which way is up.

If you could trek us your mother's surname it might help.

I've never seen a stamp that had anything even remotely resembling that and I can't see anything there that even remotely resembles a kanji. I will be fascinated to learn what it says.

#3 might be able to be read as a female given name 英子 Eiko (the reading order is from right to left).
