Nani ga ichiban suki desu ka?

And what is your question or request?
The title of this thread and the second sentence of your post do not make sense, I'm afraid...

Reverse-engineering from the Japanese into the English, I think the OP is trying to solicit responses to the question of "what things do you like" or, "what anime is your favorite", but the question came out a bit mangled.

Not "nanni" but "nani" or "nan" depending:
nani ga ichiban suki desu ka?
ichiban suki na anime wa nan desu ka?

Drop the "anata wa", as it's not necessarily, and "ichiban daisuki" sounds childish to me, just "ichiban suki" is fine for "favourite".

For the second part, you're probably looking for:
hajimete mita toki kandou shimashita

(ローマじ じゃなくて、 こうして かなで かいて も いい ですか?)

Would the initial 'watashi ha' be dropped as well?

I feel like that's okay here, as we're sort of switching the topic from "what is your favourite" to "mine is...". A lot of the time "watashi wa" can be dropped.

Since it's a general question to a forum, "minasan wa" instead of "anata wa" is also an option.

I think the question is: what do you like most?

The author of the topic describes his favourite and asks ours!
