Me and my friend are currently learning Japanese; we are still very much beginners. My friend bought a set of stamps from a Japanese dollar store type place and we were trying to translate what they said as some fun practice. We figured out what all of them said but not necessarily the meaning.
One of the ones we were stumped on was "見ました". The English to Japanese dictionary app I have said that its the past tense of "to see". The thing we are confused on is why would you need a stamp that says that? Can someone explain to me how this word is used/why a stamp of it would exist? Thank you!
