In Amazon US, they have this "certified refurbished" qualification, in addition to the "new" and "used", for some electronic products which allows the buyer to get the product with almost as high quality as the original products with substantially cheaper price. As I see in Japanese Amazon they don't seem to have refurbished ones. I am looking for a DSLR camera of certain type and I wonder if I can find refurbished version (be it online or at a physical shop) which is certified, or something like that, in Japan. Among the brands that apparently rebuild their flawed cameras and certifies them to qualify as a good consumer products in the US is Nikon which is a Japanese company. Do they also do the same thing in their own country's market?
